Israel assassinates Hezbollah Secretary General

The Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement has confirmed that Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was assassinated in Israel's strikes.

The Resistance Movement said in a statement on Saturday that its Secretary General was martyred in the stikes.

Hezbollah also reiterated its commitment to persist in its struggle against the adversary, assist in Gaza and Palestine, and safeguard Lebanon.

The Resistance group offered condolences to Iran's Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and the Resistance combatants.

Earlier on Saturday, Iran's Leader said the brutal attacks by the “rabid Zionist dog” on Lebanon revealed the shortsightedness and foolish policies of Israeli officials, calling on all Muslims to unite behind Lebanese people and Hezbollah.

The Leader noted that all Muslims must stand alongside the people of Lebanon and Hezbollah with their resources and help them confront the oppressive and evil regime.
